Great British Beef Week is all about the celebration of our fantastic beef industry. Promoting Red Tractor assured British beef, starting on 23 April and running until 1 May. Spring is the time of the first season crop so what better time to celebrate the best of British?

British beef is produced to the highest possible standards and with Red Tractor, there are strict rules on hygiene, animal welfare and traceability.

How can you help?

Just by buying British beef you’ll be doing your bit for the beef industry. At Burts, we would love to see an uplift in sales during this campaign week. We would also love to see British beef on more menus and specials boards, within pubs, restaurants, cafes and hotels. If you can’t eat out this week, after all the Easter frivolities, then why not have a mid-week roast at home?

Buy local, not just for British Beef Week. Preferably from your butchers and definitely Buy British!
